Calico Ghost Town is a former silver mining town in California. It's one of the worlds most famous ghost towns.

Calico had around 500 silver mines and produced over $20 million in Silver ore in 12 years. In the 1890s silver lost its value and people began to leave Calico and thus became abandoned.
