Culloden battlefield Culloden battlefield

Culloden Inverness IV2 5EU, UK

The Jacobite rising and rebellions were an attempt to get the Stuarts back on the British throne.

The battle of Culloden, the last battle of the Jacobite rising in 1745, lasted an hour and ended very bloody, with about 2000 Jacobites killed and wounded.

Next to the battlefield, there is also an educative visitor centre and interactive exhibition where you can experience the last battle yourself with the 360 degrees battle immersion film, the voices of the people who were involved in this battle and more.
