Eden Camp Modern History Theme Museum

Eden Camp Modern History Theme Museum is a large Second World War-related museum in North Yorkshire in England.

The museum is a former WWII prison camp and holds 33 huts.

Highlights

• Hut 8, Women at war: discover the jobs of women during the war and why they joined the forces
• Hut 9, bomber command: learn everything about the Royal Observer Corps, Bomber Command, Escape Lines, Resistance & RAFBD
• Mess hut 2, human torpedoes: a display about the weapon and a full-size working replica
• Prefab & Dig for Victory Garden: visit some of the prefabricated houses or the 'Dig for Victory' gardens. 'Dig for Victory' was a campaign to encourage people to grow food in their gardens in times of harsh rationing.
