Frontier Culture museum

Frontier Culture museum

1290 Richmond Ave Staunton (Virginia), US

The frontier culture museum teaches you about the lives of the early immigrants, who laid the groundwork of today's America. The museum is split up into two separate parts, the old world, and America. In the old world, the museum has reconstructed buildings, mostly farms, from the homelands of the colonists. While America shows you the life the colonists created in the colonial back-country.

The museum is also a beautiful place for private events. They have 3 different venues for these events: The Lee S. Cochran Pavilion, the Octagonal Barn and the Lecture Hall. The Octogonal Barn is the perfect place for a wedding, because of it's cozy, rustic atmosphere. The lecture hall is more used for conferences and business meetings.
