Mémorial Waterloo 1815

The Memorial of the Battle of Waterloo 1815 is a unique site in Belgium which is both a memorial and a historical museum.

The Memorial consists of four parts: 

1. The museum: relive the history of the battle through uniforms, historical objects, animated maps and more
2. The Panorama: an immense historic panorama painting
3. Lion’s Mound: a monument and an exceptional view of the Waterloo battlefield
4. Hougoumont Farm: hear the story of “the battle within the battle” in a multimedia show

Opening hours:
The memorial is open daily from 9.30am to 6.30pm
Hougoumont Farm is open daily from 10am to 6.15pm
