Arde Lvcvs transforms the historic walled city of Lugo into Lvcvs Avgvsti, a Roman city of Galicia, with ancestral characters, Roman legionaries, Celtic warriors, and mythological beings bringing history to life. Visitors can explore streets, squares, and reenactments celebrating the city’s Roman and hillfort past.

The festival offers a rich program of activities, including markets, military camps, gladiatorial games, and cultural demonstrations. Families and visitors of all ages can interact with historical characters, participate in workshops, and enjoy music, fire shows, and storytelling throughout the city.
