Prepare to be transported to the 1770s as you embark on a journey to Monmouth Battlefield with your family. As you arrive, you will find yourself amidst two armies on the brink of conflict. The Continental Army soldiers, who underwent rigorous retraining at Valley Forge, are eager to showcase their newfound skills. On the other side, a formidable British-German-Loyalist Army is determined to crush the rebel forces and restore a sense of order and governance. This clash of ideologies is set to unfold once again on the hallowed grounds of Monmouth Battlefield.

From the moment you step foot into the event, you will be immersed in a world of living history. The army encampments, bustling with activity, will open their doors to visitors starting at 9 AM. Watch in awe as soldiers meticulously clean their muskets, preparing for the impending battle, while their resilient womenfolk prepare what may be their men's last meal. The atmosphere will be abuzz with a myriad of activities: officers drilling their men, strategizing for the upcoming confrontation, and even engaging in card games during moments of respite. As a gesture of support, the Friends of Monmouth Battlefield kindly request a suggested donation of $10.00 per vehicle to defray the costs associated with organizing this memorable event.
