Medieval Week Gotland

Medieval Week on Gotland is Sweden’s largest historical festival, offering eight days of medieval experiences for all ages. Visitors can enjoy performances, jousting, lectures, craft courses, archery, and immersive activities in ruins, streets, parks, museums, and taverns throughout Visby and the surrounding countryside.

The festival allows visitors to dress in medieval costumes, explore over twenty medieval venues, and experience tournaments, knightly games, and traditional markets. Accommodation options include both modern and medieval-style campgrounds within walking distance of the events.
